Bye, Bye Birdie is coming to the Carco Theater

The Renton Civic Theater presents “Bye, Bye, Birdie,” this year’s summer teen musical.

The 26th annual production features 30 teens from the surrounding area. The musical tells the story of Conrad Birdie, an Elvis Presley type character, who is about to be inducted into the army. Albert Peterson is Birdie’s agent and Rosie Alvarez is Peterson’s secretary, who hatches one final scheme before Birdie’s induction.

All performances are at the Carco Theater, 1717 Maple Valley Hwy in Renton.

The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors.

The shows are 8 p.m. July 22-23, 29-20, and 2 p.m. July 24 and 31.
