The Lindbergh Eagles soccer team stayed unbeaten this week with a 4-2 win over Foster on Friday.
Foster scored first, but the Eagles fought back, with Sahaj Singh getting the Eagles on the board off an assist from Alex Kirtsov, opening the door for Lindbergh.
Abdul Hussein and Kirtsov soon followed with goals of the own, off assists from Joel Ramos and Hiep Nguyen, respectively.
The Bulldogs pull within one with a goal in the second half, but Lindbergh’s James Farell scored an insurance goal off Kirtsov’s second assist of the night.
“Credit to Foster,” Eagles Coach Ryan Johnson said in a press release. “They came out with more energy and had us on our heels. Our guys responded well and we were able to build a lead. We’ll take the three points and get ready for Tyee.”
Lindbergh is now 7-0 on the season and 5-0 in Seamount League play. They host Tyee on Monday and Highline Wednesday, both at Renton Memorial Stadium.
