Student mentors needed

Communities In Schools of Renton is looking for mentors for the coming school year.

Mentors provide Renton School District kids with encouragement, guidance, fun and friendship. A mentor serves as a mature and experienced role model and friend who supports and encourages success. Participants meet for one hour each week during the school day on school grounds.

The pairs interact one-to-one talking and sharing life experiences, through shared hobbies, physical fitness, reading, writing, photography, art and exploring many different areas of interest. There is no pre-set curriculum, instead the mentoring pair decides what to do during their mentoring time together.
