The Hazen football team ran over Highline 50-21 Friday night.
The Highlanders (2-1) rushed for six touchdowns and passed for another. They led the game 28-14 at the half and 43-14 through three quarters.
Joe Glaefke and Marquise Lee each ran for two scores. Tony Nipert rushed for a touchdown and threw one to Zach Cable. Brandon Ivy also ran for a score.
Lindbergh 47, Evergreen 14
Lindbergh got the offense working early and often in a 47-14 win against Evegreen Thursday.
The Eagles (2-1) led 40-0 at the half. Quarterback Tyrell Shavers passed for five touchdowns and rushed for another. Daniel Wiitanen scored punt return and receiving touchdowns. Cam Callen and Derrick Holt caught two touchdowns each.
Renton 18, Foster 8
Renton’s defense held Foster in check for an 18-8 win Friday night.
The Indians (2-1) scored the only points of the first half on a safety when Foster snapped the ball high on a punt attempt.
Foster (0-3) scored in the third on a 33-yard run by Cody Anderson. The Indians answered with a 60-yard strike from Da’ssuan Sauls to Ernie Davis. Sauls scored again later on a seven-yard rush. Uriel Gonzalez added a late field goal.
Liberty 14, Interlake 7
Liberty led the whole way and relied on its defense late to beat Interlake 14-7 Friday night.
The Patriots (2-1) scored two first-half touchdowns on runs from Scott Dean and Robbie Thomas. That would be all they would need as the defense held Interlake to just seven points for the game.
