Renton offering recycling events

The City of Renton is offering residents these recycling programs to help reduce waste.

The City of Renton is offering residents  these recycling programs to help reduce waste, including:

• Spring Recycle Event, May 11, and Fall Recycle Event,

Sept. 7, Renton Technical College. Both events offer recycling of materials not collected at the curbside, such as appliances, scrap metal, bulky yard waste, Styrofoam, and more.

• Reuse It! Renton Stop & Swap, June 1, 2013. Renton Memorial Stadium. Stop & Swap is designed to divert quality goods from the waste stream and make them available to neighbors and non-profits who can use them.
