For Blue Door Skin Studio, the first three years of business have been a whirlwind, in addition to being voted the Best Spa Services in Renton.

“We just moved to a new location in mid-January and we doubled the size of the business to offer more treatments,” said Justine Martinez, who co-owns Blue Door with fellow master esthetician Sepi Hadi.

The new location, which is just a block away from the old one on Burnett Avenue, is as aesthetically pleasing as the beauty treatments that are offered, with its blue-and-gold color scheme, artwork made by Martinez’s mother and blue sliding doors.

The environment is fully designed to relax clients through the studio’s wide array of skin and beauty treatment services ranging from waxing to facials to filler and botox injections.

“It’s a good non-invasive thing that gives a wow factor,” said Martinez. “Our clients might not want to jump immediately into filler or botox but want a way to really tighten their skin, replenish their collagen, or do it all in conjunction.”

When Martinez and Hadi came together to build their business, they were originally based in the Issaquah area but chose to move to Renton. “We wanted to find an area that’s up and coming and we love the location,” Martinez said. “The industry we’re in, there’s constantly something new and we really make sure we’re up to date and we highlight those services.”

Blue Door Skin Studio is located at 332 Burnett Ave. S. in Suite A. The studio is currently by appointment only and open Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed Sunday and Monday.
