A Renton businessman was named president of the Washington State Auto Dealers Association (WSADA).
Bob Bridge, owner of Bob Bridge Toyota Scion, hopes to work with other dealers and the state legislature to increase awareness about the value of franchised car dealers in the state, according to the release.
He’ll also work with the Department of Licensing and the Office of the Attorney General to maintain fair regulations for dealers and consumers.
He is recognized in the community for making substantial contributions to the Renton School District, including tutoring and reading programs.
He also serves as a committee member for the Friends of Renton Schools Fund.
Bridge has served on the WSADA Board of Directors and Executive Committee, according to a press release.
WSADA is celebrating it’s 90th anniversary this year. The 300 dealerships serve about 75 communities and are responsible for about $11 billion in annual sales.
