Two Renton companies, JayMarc Development and The Mosaic Co., have been named two of the “Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Washington” by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

JayMarc Development is the 39th fastest-growing private company in the state. No. 17 on the list is The Mosaic Co., which provides training development and consulting services designed to improve human performance in the workplace.

To make this list, companies must have recorded revenue of at least $500,000 in 2005 and have the CEO or CFO submit and personally vouch for the revenues for the past three years.

According to the company, JayMarc Development, started out 2005 with just over $3.6 million in revenue and ended 2007 with $9.2 million in revenue, 151 percent revenue growth during three years.

JayMarc Development was founded by Renton natives, Jay Mezistrano and Marc Rousso.
