Valley Medical Center has been named a “Best Place to Work in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare magazine.

This marks the second consecutive year that VMC has been named to the list and the first time it appeared in the top 10.

Out of more than 300 participating healthcare companies from across the United States, Valley Medical was was ranked number 10, in a ranking from 1 to 100.

The program collected information from both the employer and employees and was open to all companies with at least 25 employees. Employers completed a survey detailing company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Employees were asked an in-depth set of questions that resulted in an analysis in eight core areas: leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits and overall satisfaction.

This past year VMC was named one of the “100 Best Companies To Work For” by Washington CEO.
