School district measure on May 20 will not increase tax rates.

How great that the Renton School District placed a school building funding request on the ballot that will not increase our tax rates. The School Building Improvement bond measure on the May 20 ballot will continue much-needed renovations at our schools and does not ask for one penny more from taxpayers: the measure simply asks for continued support at our current rate.

I want our all of our children to have functional, safe places to learn. If I can give them that and not have to worry about paying more in taxes, I’m all for it. I’m voting YES! in the May 20 election for Renton School District.
