As a voter, Renton School District employee and parent, I welcome the opportunity to support a school board candidate willing to make a change for the betterment of our community. I, many of my co-workers and neighbors will be voting for Dr. Jim Grossnickle for Renton school board. This is our opportunity to make our voices heard and effect positive change throughout the schools and community at large. We need someone new. Someone who is willing to be an independent thinker, who will actively research the issues before simply agreeing to them.

I have known Dr. Grossnickle for several years now. He is a good honest guy who actively listens and is willing to spend the time with you to understand your perspective and explain his. Jim believes in accountability. This is very important in these tough financial times. He will scrutinize how our taxpayer dollars are being spent.

Dr. Grossnickle wants to bring parents and the public back in to the boardroom and facilitate positive changes for our schools. I am convinced that Jim will listen to the issues brought to the board and respond back in a manner that demonstrates that our voices are being heard.
