Renton needs Prince on council

When I vote for City Council, I vote for someone who has proven their commitment to Renton. It’s clear to me that the best candidate for the City Council position 5 is Ed Prince. Ed loves Renton and it shows in all he has done for our community. He has served on the Renton Planning Commission, helped to pass Renton Schools bonds and levies, has worked as a City of Renton budget adviser and is a member of the Renton Rotary. He was also extremely supportive when we worked to get the Cedar River Dog Park; as a parent and fellow dog owner he knows the importance of parks.

My husband is a small business owner, and we are both members of “The Next Curve,” which is a group that works to keep Renton “ahead of the curve.” Ed is the president and founding director of this organization. He has spent years working with people all around this city, which is why he’s earned the respect of the members of our City Council. It’s also why he’s earned the respect of our police and firefighters, business and labor leaders, and citizens from every neighborhood in the city. When I listen to Ed talk about Renton, his genuine passion is a clear indication of what he is willing to give of himself to make and keep Renton the great city it can and should be. I sincerely hope we end up with his experience and dedication on our council.
