A beauty of a day at the Renton Farmer’s Market

The Miss Washington contestants were on hand to sign autographs and pose for pictures at this week's farmer's market.

Current Miss Washington Mandy Schendel, a Hazen High School graduate, was joined by this year’s contestants at a meet-and-greet Tuesday at the Renton Farmer’s Market.

The girls signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans, like Amani Stewart, 6, of Renton, left.

The 2013 Miss Washington Pageant begins Friday in Burien. The winner will be crowned Saturday and head to Atlantic City, New Jersey this fall to compete in the Miss America Pageant.
