Applications are now available for artists of all genre to apply for participation in two events this summer, sponsored by Arts Unlimited of Renton.

Events are the July 12 Return to Renton Car Show and the Fourth Annual Art & Antique Walk Aug. 22.

The Outdoor Gallery at the Return to Renton Car Show will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the center of downtown where the cars are parked on city streets. Arts Unlimited is particularly looking for art reflecting car culture for this event but it is not required.

On Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the downtown businesses and sidewalks will come alive with art displays with a new, tighter-focused area mostly along Third Avenue and a few, short side trips.

To be involved in these events, artists must submit an application by June 1 and upon acceptance pay a $10 fee for each event. All applications must include digital examples of artwork.

Artists will be informed of acceptance by June 15.
