The annual Fishing Kids event by C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation is Saturday, June 3 at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.

children ages 5 to 14 years old will have an opportunity to receive a hands-on fishing lesson from volunteer anglers. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in water safety, boating and natural resource demonstrations.

Groups of 50 children will fish during scheduled sessions beginning at 9 a.m. and the last being at 11 a.m.

Children that are pre-registered will receive a rod and reel combo and an event tshirt.
