Relay for Life Renton to host kickoff meeting Jan. 10

Relay for Life Renton will host a kickoff meeting from 6 to 7 p.m., Jan. 10 at Merrill Gardens, 104 Burnett Ave. S.

The event will highlight how the community has benefited from funds raised and will honor cancer survivors and caregivers, according to a press release.

Attendees will get more information about the American Cancer Society, learn about fundraising and get an opportunity to register a team for the Relay for Life event that’s scheduled for June 22 and 23 at Renton Memorial Stadium.
