Janet Cole-Hamilton makes her Renton Civic Theater directing debut with the spine tingling play, “The Woman in Black.”
A lawyer hires an actor to teach him how to recount a long-troubling story that transpired on a dark and stormy night, when he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse. There he caught sight of the woman in black, the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals. For she is a specter who haunts the neighborhood, and anyone who sees her dies.
