Renton River Days kicks off with drone show and the Kennydales

Renton kicked off Renton River Days on July 26 with music at Gene Coulon Park and a drone show with various images in place of fireworks.

Before the drone show, Renton City Council President Ed Prince said a few words, thanking all who attended and sharing his thoughts.

“Thank you so much for coming out and celebrating our 39th annual Renton River Days with us. Can ya’ll believe it’s our 39th anniversary? Are ya’ll going to come for the 40th next year?” Prince said. He went on to list the events available during Renton River Days and asked people to attend because the events are where the community grows, Prince said.
