St. Anthony School’s We Act student leadership group held an all-school fundraiser to support Seattle Seahawk KJ Wright’s “Water Wells for Kenya” charity.

Students participated in Penny Wars. Each grade had a bucket. Students would bring pennies in for their grade’s bucket (which counted as positive points) and nickels, dimes and quarters to put into the other grade’s buckets (which counted as negative points).

Over $3,000 was raised to be donated to Wright’s charity. He stopped by the school Monday afternoon to announce the winner of the class competition (Kindergarten) and to talk to the students about providing wells for the people in Kenya.
