Shows at Renton IKEA to benefit Special Olympics

A magician and a comedy juggling team will headline two upcoming Renton shows to benefit Special Olympics. The shows, at Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center Feb. 7, are part of a benefit concert series called “Torch of Dreams.”

Magician Sterling Dietz is headlining the Torch of Dreams tour. Dietz has been called “the future of magic” by Las Vegas icons Siegfried & Roy. He won the Lance Burton Award as World Teen Champion of Magic. Last year at the International Brotherhood of Magicians contest he won First Place in Teen Stage Competition and the People’s Choice award. Dietz will represent the United States at the International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM) in July.

Brothers from Different Mothers is the “Torch of Dreams” special guest. The comedy juggling team was recently voted Seattle’s Funniest Prop Comics and are also Guinness World Record holders. The duo recently received rave reviews on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

Adam Gehrke of Q13 FOX News is hosting the Renton shows. Euphoria Productions is producer of “Torch of Dreams.”
