Skyway Outdoor Cinema needs your help picking this summer’s movies

The movies are shown the first four Fridays in August in the U.S. Bank parking lot, behind the 7-Eleven at Renton Avenue South and 76th Avenue South

The Skyway Outdoor Cinema will be back this summer for four more weeks of family fun and this year they are asking for your help in picking the lineup.

The movies are shown the first four Fridays in August in the U.S. Bank parking lot, behind the 7-Eleven at Renton Avenue South and 76th Avenue South. Residents are invited to bring a chair or blanket and some pocket change for the affordable concession stand goodies.

This year’s choices include family favorites such as Dinsey’s “Frozen” and “Despicable Me 2,” and “The Lego Movie” teen fare like “The HUnger Games: Catching Fire” and “Divergent,” super hero movies like “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “Iron Man 3” and “Man of Steel,” more grown-up films like “Red 2” and “the Butler” and even Oscar-winner “Gravity.”

In total, there are 16 movies from which to choose.

Polls close June 13.
