1 person dies in Renton residential fire

The Renton Regional Fire Authority reports that one person died in an early morning residential fire April 9.

Multiple fire crews responded Friday to the two-alarm fire at 500 Queen Place NE in Renton.

The Renton fire department reports that one person was transported to a hospital, two people were treated at the scene, and one firefighter suffered minor injuries.

The victim of the fire has not been identified.
