Beaten by two men | Renton police blotter

Shot at: Renton police officers responded on Sept. 24 to the 300 block of Taylor Avenue Northwest at around 10:15 a.m. after receiving a report of a domestic incident involving a firearm. A woman stated to police that her boyfriend shot a firearm at her. Officers responded and arrested two suspects, booking both into jail, according to the department. No injuries resulted from the incident.

Gunshot wound: Renton police officers responded on Sept. 23 at approximately 3:45 a.m. to the 1100 block of Bronson Way North for a shooting. According to the department, upon arrival, officers located an adult man with a gunshot wound. Officers and medical personnel at the scene provided the man with medical attention prior to transporting him to the hospital. Law enforcement located no suspect at the time. Investigation into the shooting continues.

Aggravated assault: Renton police officers responded on Sept. 23 at approximately 10 p.m. to the 4700 block of Davis Avenue South after receiving a report of an assault. According to the department, a man stated two suspects approached him and struck him repeatedly, suffering injuries. A family member of the man intervened and also suffered injuries in the incident. Medical personnel treated both the man and his family member at the scene. According to the department, both suspects left prior to the arrival of police, and neither received a “good look” at the suspects.

Assault report: Renton police officers responded to the 400 block of South 43rd Street at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sept. 23 after receiving a report of an assault. According to the department, police received no report of injuries in the incident. Police officers contacted the suspect and transported them for mental health treatment. Detectives have received the case for future investigation.
