Benefit tonight in memory of murdered Skyway boy

A well-known comedian will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Alajawan Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund tonight.

Nate Jackson, winner of the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition, is performing in Bellevue at The Parlor “Live” Comedy Club at 700 Bellevue Way N.E.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m.

Brown, a 12-year-old, was tragically killed in Skyway, after getting caught in crossfire April 29.

The proceeds will also benefit the Atlantic Street Center’s Juneteenth Celebration.

Ralph Porter, from BET One Mic Stand, is hosting the event. There will also be a musical performance by Roderic form BETs 106 & Park.
