Rep. Steve Bergquist, (D-11th) is hosting a pair of “mini town halls” in Renton this week.

The events are schedule for 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, and noon Saturday, June 13, at Aces Tennis, 401 Olympia Ave. NE., Renton.

According to an email, Bergquist plans to have 15-minute, one-on-one  conversations with constituents about their concerns, issues and ideas.

“Whenever I talk to somebody, in person, I learn something,” Bergquist said in an email. “So these mini town halls are crucial to staying in touch with my neighbors, the citizens I represent.”

Residents are encouraged to sign up for the events by emailing Legislative Aid Syd Locke at syd.locke@leg.wa.gov or by calling  the office at 360-786-7862. If those two dates don’t work for you, Bergquist said he would work to find another time to talk.
