Friday Brotherton Cadillac of Renton will present one randomly chosen Twitter user with a new Cadillac CTS at the Race for a Ride giveaway event.

In total, almost 20,000 tweets were sent mentioning #RaceForARide with the winner tweeting 150 times.

The Race for the Ride Giveaway Celebration is at Brotherton Cadillac, 215 S.W. 12th St. Brad Brotherton will present the new car. There will be a food truck, music and the SeaGals from noon to 2 p.m.

The campaign raised money and awareness for local charities by offering the chance to give and win the Cadillac. The charities were The Arthritis Foundation, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, The Moyer Foundation, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Special Olympics of Washington.
