Caspar Babypants, also known as musician Chris Ballew, won’t be coming to the downton Renton Library in December. She tried mightily, but our columnist Carolyn Ossorio wasn’t able to quickly raise the $400 to pay for his appearance.

Caspar Babypants, also known as musician Chris Ballew, won’t be coming to the downton Renton Library in December.

She tried mightily, but our columnist Carolyn Ossorio wasn’t able to quickly raise the $400 to pay for his appearance.

But she’s not giving up. She’ll try again but will give herself and the community a little more time to bring this children’s performer to Renton for a free concert for kids and their families.
