Carriage Crest Elementary among three other Kent School District elementary schools received Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction 2016 Washington Achievement Awards.
According to a media release Monday, Carriage Crest received the English Language Arts Growth Award.
This is the fourth year in a row that Carriage Crest has been honored with this award.
On May 3 at Olympic Middle School in Auburn, these and other award-winning schools will be honored in a ceremony.
“To continue to see student growth and have a staff dedicated to ensuring all students are successful is amazing. We have an extremely supportive parent community and with that support, we always push our students to be safe, be learners, be respectful, and be responsible,” Carriage Crest Principal Robert Gallagher said in the release.
