Knife threat: Renton police officers responded on Oct. 22 at around 4:15 p.m. to the 200 block of Mill Avenue South after receiving a report of a threat involving a weapon in the area. According to the department, a man stated he had been sitting in his vehicle when an individual pulled a knife on him and chased him. Police located the individual with the knife in the area and arrested him, booking him into jail. Police received no report of injuries in the incident.

Domestic assault: Renton police officers responded on Oct. 16 at around 9 p.m. for a domestic dispute incident in the 600 block of Mill Avenue South. According to the department, an individual stated they had been struck in the head and suffered injuries. Police identified a suspect and arrested them, booking them into jail.

Hit with a glass: Renton police officers responded on Oct. 15 at approximately 10:20 p.m. to the 1000 block of Northeast Sunset Boulevard for a report of an assault. A woman stated an individual struck her in the head with a glass, resulting in injuries. The individual left the scene prior to the arrival of officers. First responders transported the woman to a hospital for her injuries. Investigation continues into the incident.

Cedar River Trail assault: Renton police officers responded to the intersection of Williams Avenue North and the Cedar River Trail on Oct. 14 at approximately 9:15 p.m. for a report of an assault. According to the department, an individual stated they were punched by a person in the head. The victim suffered injuries and was provided medical attention at the scene, according to the department. The suspect left the scene prior to the arrival of officers. Police arrested the suspect the next day, on Oct. 15, booking them into jail.
