City of Renton seeks members for Renton Airport Advisory Committee

Three vacant positions represent Kennydale, South Renton and West Hill.

The city of Renton announced it is looking for members to join the Renton Airport Advisory Committee on April 28.

New members must be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Members also must serve a three year term.

According to a release from the city, members serve on the committee without compensation and must reside within the city limits.

The purpose of this committee, the release stated, is to provide a forum for community members to discuss issues relating to the airport. The committee meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of every month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Renton Municipal Airport.

There are currently three vacant positions representing the following neighborhoods — Kennydale, South Renton and West Hill.
