City seeking input on Human Services plan

The Plan will help the city address the 13 priority health and human services needs identified as part of the 2014 Community Needs Assessment for Housing and Human Services.

The city is inviting the public to contribute to the City of Renton’s first Human Services Strategic Plan.

In addition, staff from the City of Renton, Renton School District, Valley Medical Center, local businesses, non-profit organizations and Human Services Agencies will participate

The Plan will help the city address the 13 priority health and human services needs identified as part of the 2014 Community Needs Assessment for Housing and Human Services.

The Health and Wellness meeting (better access to health and dental care, more mental health and substance abuse services, early childhood screenings and parenting support) is scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 23, at the Renton Senior Center, 211 Burnett Ave. S, Renton.
