Council to get legislative wrap-up before tonight’s regular meeting

The Renton City Council has a relatively light meeting scheduled for tonight.

Included on the meeting’s agenda are a proclamation naming today, July 8, Miss Washington Day and a special presentation regarding the Renton Community Foundation – Custer Fund Donation to the Meadow Crest Inclusive Playground.

The regular council meeting will be proceeded by a Committee of the Whole meeting that will include a briefing on the warp-up of the legislative season.

The Committee of the Whole meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Seventh Floor Conferencing Center. A reception Miss Washington will follow at 6:30 p.m.

The regular council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
