The Strategic Plan guides Metro to reinvest bus service hours from low performing routes to address overcrowding and unmet needs elsewhere in the system to allow more people to use the Metro system. The proposed service changes, to go into effect this next June, are intended to implement the strategic plan policies.

This public hearing is not directed at proposed transit service changes related to the implementation of RapidRide Lines C and D next fall. The council anticipates hosting public hearing on those proposed changes in the spring of 2012.
