Dog walk is this weekend at Riverview Park to benefit King County Search Dogs

The Loyal Companions 4-H Club for its ninth annual Dogs Walking 4 Dogs fundraising event to benefit King County Search Dogs Saturday, May 7.

The walk will be held at Riverview Park on the Cedar River Trail, 2901 Maple Valley Highway in Renton.

The money raised helps train the search dogs and handlers. King County Search Dogs, including their volunteer handlers, will be there to meet and give demonstrations.

This is a fun event with an easy walk on the Cedar River Trail. King County 4-H members, King County Search Dogs teams and the public bring their dogs along for the fun walk. Loyal Companions collects a participation fee from walkers as well as donations and pledges for miles walked.

Check-in will be 9:30-11 a.m. and the walk is 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. 4-H members are challenging participants to bring at least $50 in pledge money, which will be collected upon check-in.
