Domestic assault: Renton police officers responded on Aug. 29 after receiving reports at around 8:30 p.m. of a domestic disturbance. According to the department, a woman stated her boyfriend physically assaulted her, with medical attention provided to the woman at the scene. Law enforcement arrested and booked the suspect into the King County Jail.

Malicious mischief: Renton police officers responded on Aug. 31 to the area of South Grady Way and Talbot Road South just after 6:15 a.m. after receiving report of malicious mischief. According to the department, a man stated that as he waited in his vehicle at a red light, an individual, another man, walked up to his vehicle and struck the vehicle with his hand, resulting in damage. Police located the man in the area and arrested him.
