UPDATE: King County Sheriff’s detectives have obtained a warrant for the grandson of the elderly Fairwood couple killed Saturday. He is wanted for questioning in their deaths.
An elderly couple was killed in their Fairwood home Saturday and their red Chrysler sedan is missing, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office did not release the name of the couple.
Detectives are also looking for the couple’s grandson, although he is not wanted in connection with the homicide, according to Sgt. Cindi West, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office. He was at the couple’s home and his whereabouts was unknown Saturday.
The grandson is 26-year-old Michael L. Boysen, He is 5 feet 10 and weighs 170 pounds. Anyone who sees Boysen is asked to call 911.
Just after 6 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a house in the 16200 block of 145 Avenue Southeast after a woman called 911 and reported that she found her parents dead in their home, according to West.
When police arrived, they found an 82-year-old man and his 80-year-old wife dead inside the home. Detectives have not released details about the crime scene or manner of death but said they are investigating the scene as a double homicide, according to West.
A vehicle belonging to the deceased couple is missing from the scene and is described as a red, 2001 Chrysler 300 with Washington license 046XXU. Police are asking anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911.
