The King County Elections Division on Tuesday certified the results of the Aug. 7 primary election. Voters countywide approved a property tax increase to build a new Children and Family Justice Center in Seattle.

There were  several legislative races in Renton. The top-two vote-getters, regardless of party affiliation, will advance to the general  election in November. Half the state Senate seats and all of the state House of Representative seats are up for election.

Here are the final tallies in Renton’s legislative district races. The names of the two candidates who will advance to the general election in November are in bold type.
