King County Sheriff Fire Investigators are working this morning to determine the cause of a mobile home fire in Skyway Sunday evening.

King County Fire District 20 firefighters responded to the 13100 block of Beacon Coal Mine Rd at 6:23 p.m. The first arriving engine found heavy fire and smoke with in both the structure with and surrounding trees.

Firefighters from Renton, Tukwila, Kent Regional and North Highline Fire assisted in battling the fire defensively due to the heavy fire and the additional exposures of other structures nearby.

No other mobile homes were damaged with this result.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $20,000 and the Red Cross is assisting the family of two.
