Four local students have earned special honors at their schools.

They include:

•Brittany Thomas of Renton made Grove City College Dean’s List for the spring semester 2008. She is a 2004 graduate of Kentridge High School and is majoring in Spanish.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have at least a 3.4-average GPA, or better than a B+.

• Sarah Elizabeth Vacanti was name to Gonzaga University’s Dean’s List for spring semester 2008. Vacanti is a junior. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.69 GPA to be listed.

• Michael Lukomski was named to Gonzaga University’s President’s List for spring semester 2008. He is a junior. Students must earn a 3.7 or better GPA to be listed.

• Renton High School student Tuan H. Phan has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence. Phan is the son of Ho and Huong Phan of Vietnam.
