Make no mistake: summer is here.
The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies and hot temperatures through the week including Independence Day.
Today, Saturday, should be a lot like yesterday, with mostly sunny skies, light winds and highs in the mid-80s. It should stay clear through the evening with overnight lows dropping to around 60.
Sunday looks great as well, with more sun and more highs in the 80s and overnight lows in the low 60s.
On Monday, the sun sticks around, but the temperatures climb even higher, with a high of 90 predicted. Tuesday is also set to be in the 90s with more sunny skies in store.
On Wednesday, the heat breaks a little, but not much, with more sun predicted, but highs only in the mid-80s.
And, of course, the big concern this week is the Fourth of July holiday on Thursday, which is shaping up to be beautiful with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper-70s.
