The Grainger Company gave the Renton Technical College Foundation $10,000 to support students in a trades program.

“With tuition and fees on the rise, this gift comes at a time when student need is at an all time high,” said Executive Director of the Foundation, Jamie Williams. “Renton Technical College Foundation is extremely grateful for The Grainger Foundations commitment to education in the trades.”

Grainger is a leader in the distribution of industrial supplies and a supplier of facilities maintenance products, helping businesses maintain, repair and operate their facilities.

They are also committed to help stem the shortage of skilled workers in the industry that they rely on to continue their business.

Over the last 80 years, Grainger’s product line has expanded to more than 900,000 products and repair parts, and has grown steadily over the years.
