Michael (Chad) Boysen, a suspect in the deaths of his elderly grandparents in Fairwood late Friday or Saturday, may be seeking firearms, the King County Sheriff’s Office has learned, and is considered an extreme danger to the public and police.
Detectives said the credibility of the information was bolstered by Boysen’s internet searches just before or after his grandparents double murder, according to Sgt. Cindi West, a spokeswoman for the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Boysen had done an internet search of gun shows all across the Pacific Northwest and Nevada.
Boysen is suspected of murdering his grandparents in their Fairwood home sometime late Friday night or Saturday morning. Boysen had recently been released from prison after serving a year for burglary, according to West
Detectives also released an actual photo of the couple’s vehicle missing from the crime scene. The vehicle is a red, 2001 Chrysler 300, 046XXU-Wa. The bumper sticker on the trunk appears dark but is red.
Anyone who Boysen or the vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately.!
Boysen, a white male, is 5 feet 10, 170 pounds, with hazel eyes.
