Gunshots on Talbot Road South | Renton police blotter

Gunshot victim: Renton police officers responded on Oct. 8 just before 8:45 p.m. to a report of gunshots heard in the 5300 block of Talbot Road South. According to the department, officers located shell casings at the scene. Valley Medical Center notified law enforcement of a man arriving via vehicle with gunshot wounds in a potentially related incident, and officers responded to the hospital. The victim declined to speak with police and to provide information.

Armed robbery: Renton police officers responded on Oct. 8 just after 12:15 a.m. to the 1200 block of Southwest 43rd Street for a report of an armed robbery. An individual stated to police that three suspects entered the business armed with handguns, and demanded cash and the belongings of victims prior to leaving in a vehicle. According to the department, police received no report of injuries from the incident, and the suspects left the scene prior to the arrival of officers. The Redmond Police Department later located the suspect vehicle. Investigation into the incident continues.

Shooting: Renton police officers responded at 10 p.m. Oct. 14 to a shooting in the 2100 block of Southwest Sunset Boulevard. According to the department, a woman stated she suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Arriving officers provided first aid to the woman and transported her to the hospital. The victim was unable to provide information regarding the suspect to officers at the time. Detectives responded to the scene to continue investigation into the shooting. Investigation for the incident serves as ongoing.

Assault and arrest: Renton police officers responded on Oct 15 at approximately 6:50 p.m. to the 1100 block of Oakesdale Avenue Southwest after receiving a report of an assault incident. Two individuals stated they suffered blows as they attempted to break up an altercation. Police arrested and booked a man involved in the altercation to jail. The two additional individuals involved were not located at the time.

Drive-by shooting: Renton police officers responded on Oct. 13 at around 4:20 a.m. to a shooting with injuries in the 2900 block of Northeast 6th Place. According to the department, an individual stated they suffered a gunshot wound to the leg from a drive-by shooting. Officers located multiple shell casings at the scene. The injured individual was unable to provide a description of the shooter. Police transported them to the hospital. Investigation into the shooting continues.
