Strong winds are expected through midnight tonight, with gusts of 45 to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected from the southwest.
The winds could mean more damage to trees and powerlines; last week’s storms cut off power to about 400,000 customers of Puget Sound Energy. Crews are still restoring power to the last of those customers.
The forecast for Renton is called for a high of 47 today and a low overnight of 42 degrees. There will be a slight cooling throughout the week, with lows in the lower 30s starting Thursday night.
There is no snow in the forecast through Sunday night.
