A ring made by Hazen High School senior Brittany Philio received an honorable mention at the 2009 Passing the Torch Seattle Metals Guild Washington Statewide High School Jewelry/Metals Exhibition.

Philio is a student in the jewelry manufacturing class taught by Gary Grossman at Hazen.
