The holidays arrive at The Landing Nov. 19 with a special tree-lighting ceremony.
The festivities, which include choral music, live reindeer, train rides and more, will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the plaza across from the Regal Cinema. The 40-foot fir tree will be lit at 6 p.m.
There will be activities for children like holiday face painters, balloon artists, train rides and the reindeer that come from Cougar Mountain Zoo.
Choir groups from Liberty High School, Maywood Middle School and Newcastle Elementary School will provide the musical entertain singing favorite carols to get attendees into the holiday spirit beginning at 4 p.m.
The Salvation Army Brass Band will also perform from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The holiday train rides will continue through December from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 3, 10 and 17.
