The King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased victim in the Renton Police Department’s Nov. 26 homicide investigation.
According to the medical examiner’s office, 23-year-old Marqell Braezeale-Johnson of Renton died on Nov. 26 from a gunshot wound to the head. The medical examiner’s office identified Braezeale-Johnson’s death as a homicide.
According to Meeghan Black, spokesperson for the Renton Police Department, investigators said the unidentified victim was dropped off at Valley Medical Center at 4:30 a.m. Nov. 26 with a fatal gunshot wound.
According to police, witnesses are not cooperating with police investigation into the death.
“Very little is known about the incident, including where the shooting took place,” stated Black.
The location where Braezeale-Johnson was shot remains unknown, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Investigation into the incident continues.
