It’s going to be a scorcher out there this weekend, so remember plenty of water and sunscreen!

An Excessive Heat Warning is in place through Sunday night throughout the region. Take extra precaution if you plan to be outside.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies and hot temperatures today, Saturday, with a high around 92. Saturday night bring s a chance of thunderstorms under mostly cloudy skies and a low near 67.

Sunday brings a chance of thunderstorms throughout the day under partly sunny skies and a high near 88 dropping to 61 overnight.

Monday brings more sun with a high in the mid-80s and it should stay that way most of the week.
