A collision involving a number of vehicles at 9:40 a.m. today (Friday) was blocking the two left lanes of northbound Interstate 405 at State Route 900, the Sunset Highway, according to the Washington state Department of Transportation.

All lanes reopened at about 10:30 a.m.

Traffic cameras showed backups on 405 to near Southcenter and backups on northbound SR 167 out of Kent.

The Washington state Patrol and fire crews were at the scene.
