Travelers who use northbound I-5 in SeaTac should prepare for overnight traffic delays starting Monday evening, March 13, to Friday morning, March 17.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will reduce the interstate to two lanes north of South 188th Street from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. During the lane closures, crews will replace the overhead message sign located north of South 178th Street. The sign displays traffic information for travelers.
The work is part of a project to replace three old message signs on I-5, I-405 north of Renton and State Route 520 in Bellevue. Crews will replace the other signs in the coming weeks.
